Make a Broody

Any tips on encouraging a broody? My cuckoo marans seem to be my best broody hens and mothers. The hatchery owes me some chicks, and before they come, I want to "make a broody" to graft them too. I've had success with this in the past, but I was always lucky enough to have a hen get broody before any chicks came. I actually had a hen raise some turkey poults.

I've got one cuckoo left who doesn't have a brood. She has been trying to go broody off and on for a couple of weeks, but she never sticks with it. Any thoughts on convincing her that she want to sit?
