okay, so i wasn't going to heat, but they were predicting low temperatures for the next week and late yesterday i caved...but only a little. i added a 25w red light bulb in the coop. my dh came up with a solution for keeping their water thawed...but i haven't figured out how to get them to come out of the coop to drink it.

everyone seems to be quite happy hanging out inside today. should i worry about them dehydrating? my dh doesn't think they'll allow this to happen.

they are fine.... if they want a drink they will come out.... they will also eat snow.

They are not using the heatlamp.... so put the water indoors under the heat lamp :)

I use those reptile heaters too... they are great for keeping small containers un frozen.
