Making a chicken go broody!!!!!

Right now I have two New Hampshire hens. I was wondering, Is it possible to make a chicken go broody. I just think that it would be cool to have a hen sit on a nest and hatch some out for me. If you have some fertile eggs and put themin the nest will it make them go broody.

The chicken doesn't know the eggs are fertile they just sometimes get in the mood to go broody. Some hens just want to be mothers. It also has alot to do with certan breeds. Cochins and silkies seem to get broody all the time. But chickens that are bred for egg production usually do not go broody.

So good luck and maybe you will get lucky and one of your hens will go broody.
