It has been a long time since I have posted on here....a few years probably. I'm not even sue if anyone here still remembers me so I will re-introduce myself.
My name is Tracy and I live in Tucson AZ. I have kept chickens for about 10 years and also have raised dairy goats, meat birds and pigs. I have an acre and 1/4 but am currently living in the city limits because we needed a bigger house for our 6 kids. The happy news is that we are putting our home on the market and moving back to our land where we plan to put a mobile home and live the country life that we are missing so much
. I keep chickens and ducks in the city but it is a small flock and I can't wait to turn them loose on the land to peck and roam along with the kids. I can't wait to start with the dairy goats again and milking. I can't wait to raise the annual pig and have meat birds. I can't wait to have a roster and hatch chicks again. I am so excited to be moving back to my home....to my land...to my life. It will be awhile yet as we will be putting the house on the market shortly after the new year and then shopping for a manufactured home. The kids and I do 4-H and we love it. I want them to have a connection to their food, I want them to have a relationship with animals and the land. I am beyond excited.
