yes sensible! I gave her the option of free ranging and she took it!

I put 57 eggs in the bator on new years day - so we'll see what / if anything develops!

Mostly BCMs, some buffs, a chanteclar, and some EE mutts. Love my feisty little EE/silkie mutts...

so much personality for their size. My alpha hen is a bantam and she really sorts out the bigger hens if they get in her face...

Yup! She is so fearless makes me laugh so hard sometimes.

.. and she really lets rip with her egg song, and sometimes they all take it up and it sounds like a chicken choir in 5 part harmony

Im updating all my old threads so here goes. The wet chick is a beautiful girl named sophie. We also got one more chick on day 26 who is also a girl. The the fluffy chick in this pic turned out to be a boy and has passed due to a fight with his father.
