Making a mess in the coop?

is that any better? It's just a slightly elaborate version of what most people seem to do.

"Block or plastic dish" is either a coupla scrap pieces of 2x6, or the red base of a spare waterer turned upside down under the base of the real one being used.

'"Plastic mesh tabletop" is, for my 2 indoor pens, a small (maybe12" square) plastic tabletop about 2" thick and most of it is strong plastic mesh. Hard to explain. I spend a lot of time in thrift stores
