Making a new duck run

Do you think an 8 x 8 chain link fence dog run style coop with a large dog house/duck motel attached is big enough for 2 medium sized hens? Read again if you are confused

I would make it bigger if I could. Ducks are pretty messy. The more room you give them the easier the mess is to handle.

Yea...they definetly are...they are about 5 weeks now and will be going outside permanently very soon.

Will they live there full time? If they will free range during the day and only be locked up at night, then I would say that's plenty for two ducks. I have ten adult ducks and two geese that spend nights in a 12 x 8 run with attached house, and it works just fine. It does get stinky and I have to refresh the bedding regularly, but for nighttime only it's quite adequate. If they're living there full time, it's another story.
