Making an LG into a Hovabator?

So I've discovered you can get the electric thermostat and fan for the Hovabator for around $60 (much cheaper than the $130 for the whole incubator). If this could be installed in my LG, then I can stop worrying about all the temp issues. Has anyone done this before?

How would I wire this into my power cord, and heating coil? Is this even possible?

Hovabator genesis 1588 owners: Does it really control temps as well as it says it does?

I've got 3 of them and yes, they're very dependable in keeping the temps steady.

Even if you can modify it I am sure the hova is insulated better as well.
