I don't know, but I would think it would be a very expensive way of creating fodder.
corn, wheat, milo, barley and sunflower. i'm seeing reviews that state crack not whole corn so there might be a lot of wasteWhat are the ingredients?
It's probably mostly Milo (Sorghum). It probably also has Millet.
Both will sprout fine.
Here's a patch of cheap scratch I planted, alongside a patch of Black Oil Sunflower seeds.
Whole grains should sprout...cracked grains will not.
i'm going to ask my dad, in fla w/lots of farms around him, to ck his local feed stores to see if they have bulk grains so he can get me a mixed bag for my new fluff nuggets
Even using a big bag of birdseed/black oil sunflower from Home Depot/Lowes/the hardware store should technically work..... Still more expensive than a grain silo/feed store price, but probably cheaper than scratch.
