Making little giant incubator bigger

I am getting some emu eggs, and I have the little giant incubators how can I make it bigger to fit the emu eggs?

What if you don't use the automatic egg turner?
Will the emu eggs fit in there on their side then?
Of course you would have to manually turn the eggs.

You might be able to make a middle section to fit between the two halves of the incubator out of some styrofoam. That would bascially raise the top up so you would have more room. I don't know how good that would work out but it would have to fit together good or you would loose your heat and humidity.
