preppy*hippie*chick :
I'm a "powerseller" there. I don't sell anything chicken related Yet). Things are not pretty there now. At least for me. Fall of '07 I was doing around $4,000 per montyh in sales. I am now down to $300-$500 per month with 5-6 times the inventory (variety, not quantity). I wouls also say that 8 of every 10 items sold go overseas. If you have a store there, as I do the final value fees are outrageous. They get 12% plus a monthly store fee and Paypal takes 32 cents off each payment I'm sent plus a %. But if you have a hot item to offer up as a traditional auction, it's worth it.
thats why we quit selling 2 years ago... fees became outrageous - and now.. you cant even leave negative feedback for non-paying bidders as a Seller but they can do whatever they want to do and have you banned as a Seller regardless of your ratings.
I have TONS of antiques left to sell just sitting here....all packed up. Looks like yard sales / farmers market type of things for me.
