So... when you go to make pickles is there any reason you can't have more than one cucumber type in the same jar? I was curious to ask about this. Like, in theory... we have 'Straight 8' variety cucumbers. We also have the normal plain 'pickling' type cucumbers. So there's both.
I wondered if its better to keep them in separate jars or together blended?

Also, for those of you in dry, hot climates the straight 8 variety seems to work good in southwest climates. Its a good producer. BUT it does seem to like water more than once a day. But I've been using them and really like their production rates.
