making separate flocks?

I have runners and cayuga eggs I am hoping hatch

I really wanted them to flock with their own breed(only if more than one of each hatch). Will they naturally do that (my first ducks) or do I have to brood them separately? thanks

nope. you'll have to give them separate yards for breeding season if you want to ensure you have pure hatchings. My Muscovy are the only ducks who will reliably stick "to their own".

. I don't even sell my chicken eggs so I am not sure I will care about hatching them, I just want the ducks
