making your own feed?

Does anyone make your own feed? How hard is it? I need my chickens to be on a gluten, corn and soy free diet, due to my family's allergies, but I'm having a hard time finding feed that will work. I'm thinking about making my own, so any suggestions will be helpful!

In general, you want to substitute non-gluten carbs for the typical grains in your recipe. Various seeds will work and I know rice is okay. Substitute other legumes, fish meal or a meat for the soy in your recipe.
