Making your own feed?

In the midst of all my research, I've came across people making their own feed for their girls. Is it worth doing? Do any of you here do it?

If you have only a few chickens,it's probably not worth it by the time you buy all the ingredients in bulk.

Unless you have hundreds or more, not worth it.
If you're not a poultry nutritionist, you won't have all the nutrients at the appropriate levels to properly feed your birds.
