About 2 tears ago in january, i went to a pigeon farm with my grandpa. we were looking at some of the chickens he used to incubate eggs and i found a little serama chick that was still wet from the egg. the mom wasnt around and never came back. it was about -15 without wind chill so i decided to take it in and raise it. now her name is Lucky and she is seriously the best pet ever. she runs when you call her name and she has brooded 2 batches of eggs for us. currently on her second her chicks look really weird and nothing like her or the serama rooster she was with. does anyone have facts about them? i am really wanting to know more about them! thanks!

her chicks are black with almost yellow colored splotches. one chick is all black with just a tiny bit of yellow. they are full blooded seramas because she was never with any ither rooster. the chicks have everything a serama needs but im just really comfused

Seramas do not necessarily breed true to color meaning any color birds can have other colored birds; whites can have blacks, browns can have whites, etc. It's more the traits like size, shape, structure that define a serama.
