I'm Moving soon and can only take 2 of my buttons with me. I'm taking my favorites which are both males some one said that wasnt a good idea because males fight and could kill eachother but they have been together since little tiny chicks, and they are almost 5 months old will it be a problem if they stay together or should I take a pair?

Also do male buttons crow one of mine stood up tall and started croaking like a frog is that technically crowing for quail?

I recommend taking a pair as males will in fact fight to their death, even though they were raised together.

The males do crow, almost like wind blowing

I have males who have been together since hatch that do NOT fight. I think it depends a lot on the individual birds, their genetics, and a whole lot of other factors. I say take the 2.

I've never had a button of mine kill another button...guess that's the genetics kicking in.
