I had this guy shipped to me on Thursday from a breeder. He is just way too big for my older and much smaller dog. I thought I was making a great decision; however, my other dog is so frightened she is refusing to eat, drink and come downstairs. He has tried to play with her but he is too big and scared to the point she vomited. She has a heart murmur as is. I am looking to sell him along with his crate, puppy food and toys. I would like 575.00, he came from a farm so he loves the outdoors.

He does not soil his crate and is doing well with potty training in the house. He was born 2/09. His mom was a labradoodle, his father a standard poodle. His grandma was a chocolate lab.

I would like to find him a home as soon as I can. Please send to friends if you can, I would appreciate any help.

Thank you
Jenn

I can send photos to you just submit your email.

I understand. I was just trying to get what I paid including airfare. I would be willing to accept offers at this point. My older dog is really having difficulty.

Thanks for your input.

The breeder says he needs time to adjust; in the meantime, my older dog drops from a nervous breakdown....

Is there any way you can separate them? Perhaps so that they can see each other, but not able to interact for a little while?

Its possible that your older dog doesn't like the fact that this new intruder has entered your home. I would suggest keeping them separated for awhile, whether in different rooms or by gates in the house. Show the older dog lots and lots of affection.

It could be that they just need time to adjust. However, if you still decide to rehome the new dog, try putting ads up on craigslist and on local ad boards (Our food store has one, as does our animal feed stores) The price you are asking may seem high, but I'm sure someone will pay it as you already have! I may not understand it, but a lot of people are looking for Labradoodles!

I'd also try posting an ad on Craigslist. The Labradoodle has gotten to be a pretty popular dog.

I'm sure it's hard when you go through all of that trouble to get your dog, and it doesn't work out. Good luck to you. I hope you find him a good home.
