Male Guinea eating my chicken eggs

Thanks I like the guineas because the deter the rattlers. I haven't had any rattlers for 3 years. Saves the goats and chickens and me :)

I don't know why craiglist does that..numerous people have requested the town next to me be listed...they just don't. Places are pretty far out here, country, and a stretch of nothing to get to another town.

Does anyone know how to stop a guinea from raiding the chicken coop and eating eggs? I have 7 and one make keeps sneaking to where the hens lay their eggs and eats the eggs. Can I spray something as a deterent that won't repel the chickens from laying? I have fake eggs where the chickens lay but he seems to know where the fresh ones are. I have thrown higher protein feed to where they are outside the fencing but that doesn't seem to help.
Rehoming to someone without chickens sounds good. You could also try some of the tricks used for hens that eat eggs, like filling eggs with mustard. Rollaway nest boxes are another solution.
