Male guinea moving the eggs in the nest!

Does anyone have any idea what William is doing - caught him yesterday in the coop moving the eggs around with his beak while his girlfriend just looked on. He wasn't pecking at them, just moving them around in the pile.

I did ask him what on earth he was up to, but he just ignored me

I caught one of my males doing the same thing week before last, not hurting the eggs just moving them around.

He is just turning them, guineas move eggs with their beaks.
