A friend of mine gave me some fertilized eggs, this one in particular she said, the mom is a Leghorn and the dad is one of those Small size chickens with feathers in their legs, this one is about 6-8 weeks I believe is a rooster, it looks like a leghorn but has feathers on the legs. what do you guys think, male of female?

I'd vote roo also, that is a lot of red comb/wattle for a 6-8 week old, even if a leghorn X

Since it's a mix of breeds, and it looks like it's mom, wouldn't that make it a male? even though I read somewhere that sex link rules don't apply to white leghorns. any input on this?

Just because it's a mix and looks like mom doesn't mean it's male, no. Sex linkage requires specific colors to work. Leghorns are usually dominant white, which basically covers everything else, so they can't be used for sex link crosses. Plus, with no idea what color the father is, even if the hen were silver factor vs dominant white, you still wouldn't know if you were getting sex link.

That much comb at this age is male.
