Male or female and what breed

I am really puzzled by this chicken I'm not sure whether it is a male or female it hasn't crowed it's roughly about five and half months old I'm not sure what you said was it's a male or female please help and I don't know what breed is

Okay now I am questioning everything I thought I knew about chickens when it came to sexing them after looking and reading on the web

Id say roo, but it's hard to tell from the pics.

I'm also thinking rooster, but honestly we really need a clear picture, profile. We're looking for hackle and/or saddle feathers, and on solid black or solid white birds they can be hard to see in a photo due to glare.
