Male or Female Khaki Campbell Ducks

I’m with the rest, one male and one female. He will get his male feathers in a few months. You can sex Khakis by the feather color above the tail. Males have dark solid feathers and females lighter, two-toned ones. The picture below is of two of mine when they were young.

Sounds like me lol. I have 9 chickens, 7 ducks, a goose, 3 guineas, and we recently lost our turkey. I have a problem

But yes, I agree in that it looks like you may have one of each. They are definitely old enough that you should be able to voice sex. The duck will have a loud honk like quack and the drake will sound raspy. The easiest way to tell is by picking them up one at a time and separating them from the other. Females will often start quacking almost instantly.

Yes one was sounding like a male that’s why I was confused because when I had Perkins I read that if there is not a male a female would like kind of take over and have male traits. Idk maybe it was a lie lol
