Male or Female Marans??

Hi, I bought this Black Maran at 4 weeks old. It was sold to me as a female. It’s now 3 months old and is beginning to look like a cockerel. Can anyone confirm?

I hatched out some splash Wheaton, Wheaton, and blue Wheaton marans and they are now 3 weeks. These two I can’t tell if they are male or female. What do you think?

I reckon Top Rooster bottom hen But sometimes too early to tell depending on the breed But the top pic the tail feathers have a slight curve downwards and the comb is very formed where in the bottom pic The tail feathers haven’t come in yet and the comb hasn’t developed yet which usually indicates a hen

I was able to see the difference in my Copper Marans by the tail feather method. Also, female vent and male vent happened to look different. Also, male stood more upright. Female was head forward. Hope this helps
