Male or female silkies? Male or female Buff Polish?

I also have to say the polish is a roo and the two reds are roo's. The white silkie looks like maybe a pullet but hard to tell from the pic.

Well, it's been a couple more weeks and still no crowing from the Buff Polish.

Plus, that darn crest keeps growing! It flops over to either side now LOL.

Still barely any comb growth though...

The polish is a roo. Pullets dont have sickle feathers, and this one got them.

You think you could get current pictures of the Polish when it's not wet? My Polish pullets are 100% pullets and have saddle feathers, but they are very dull-pointed, thick, and not stringy. Those saddle feathes in the pictures look like the opposite. V-combs tend to be on the small side generally.

I'm not so good with silkies, but the polish is definitely a male. A female would have a topknot like a cotton ball or a pom pom. Males get long stringy feathers and have "messier" hairdos.
