I would guess hen at this point. If it's a Tom it should display occasionally. I will make trilling noises to my young turkeys, it will often make the toms display.
we are now calling him/her Ro just to be safe. We had all our ducks chickens and this one turkey living together for the last 3 months (since she was a few days old) and she is all tore up about being separated now that we built the ducks and turkeys a new pen. Maybe while I'm painting today Ro will decide to strut or gobble and I can post a video.
When don't usually strut or gobble. Turkeys can sometimes be tricky up to 4 months of age as far as determining sex. If you are getting gobbling and displaying than it's a Tom.@oldhenlikesdogs well, I kept calling he/she Rose and I think she may be trying to gobble and strut now! Haha! This poor turkey is confused!
How old are they, they do look like roosters, but you can't always tell with silkies until you get a crow or an egg.
