Hello good friends!
Hope you may help me with this situation. I bought 20 quails one month ago, they are now like 2 months old. I’m really stranded because the males started to sing but the females are not laying eggs.
I have a question with this one specifically. It looks like female, but call as male, mate other females and when I push the cloak, the white foam comes out. Is that possible? Or you think may be a different coloration?

That's a beautiful boy. You might have him as one of your breeders if you want to pass on that color.

Females mature a bit later than males, so don't worry about the egg production if everything else is right.

Red is an exclusively male colour where quail are concerned. If there's any red in those chest speckles then it's a male. Females should have a cream chest with brown spots - no hint of red.
