This stray has been with us for 3 or 4 weeks now. All of the neighbors say it is not theirs. Do you think this is a Male or female? I have no chicken experience.

Pretty sure thats a rooster, the neck feathers look pointy like roosters have. I could be way off though, I dont know much about smaller, wild birds

Looks like a rooster to me, too! So sad. I bet someone just released him and “ let nature take its course.” Are you going to keep him?
