So approximately three weeks. Much too young. With silkies (it's a silkie, right? Or I'm just going nuts), they can sometimes be 8 months old before you can tell the gender. Come back in a month, and someone may be able to help you.

ok thanks for your reply. Yeah, it is silkie. i have other chick breeds (susex and polish) also. but this silkie was one. I was thinking if it is male then I will buy female for this and vice-versa.

The sussex and polish can be sexed much sooner than the silkie, but sometimes with silkies, you need to wait for a crow or an egg, unfortunately.
