hi, i read somewhere on BYC that with the partridge color, you can maybe tell if they're male or female based on their markings....especially around the eyes.....i read that if it's lined in black, it's a female. on my 2 chicks, the tiny one has black all around his eyes and the other one just has "eyeliner" on the bottom lid. also, i did 2 different old wives tales on all 3 of my chicks and they both said that all 3 were males. i seriously don't know how much merit it has, but i'm afraid to keep another chick from this batch cuz i don't want 2 males. i really rather have 2 girls, but i am keeping the showgirl, even if it's a roo. you can't tell it's a showgirl cuz he has his neck in, but the bigger one is a showgirl. i'm gonna try to upload pics on BYC for the 1st time, i hope it works!
oh, and what color do you think the other silkie will be? white? in real life, he looks kinda buff.
