Male or female?

These little ones are 4 1/2 weeks old. Male or female?

Well if they are japanese cotournix (don't think I spelled that right) then they are both males. Females have spotted chests!

Golden ones can be tricky. What are thier backs like? And only males crow.

Yea that's why I am having a hard time. They haven't started crowing yet. Here are their backs in the same order

Yup-still look like males to me. I had some but did not have very good luck with them. I have three left!

That's what I'm suspecting but wanted to get other opinions. Does anyone think they might b girls? Ill probably just have to wait till they crow or lay. Thanks!

I would wait for crowing or fighting. My Golden males get maroon to chocolate colored heads. My golden hens are sketchy on chest spots.

Ok cool thanks. They should be crowing soon enough guess ill just have to be patient
