can anyone tell me the sex of these 2 silver laced wyandottes

the combs on their faces look different. is that normal

I'm expecting these are hatchery birds... which unfortunetly will come in either the preferred rose comb (1st pic) or the unsavory single comb (second pic). My understanding is that they will add something to their Wyandotte flocks, every couple of generations, to keep the egg production up.
That said, its a bit too early to tell male from female. The non uniform coloring on the rose comb Wyandotte is suspect, and can indicate a cockerel. Keep an eye on them and repost at 8 weeks or so.
