Male to Female ratio for Breeding?

New to raising Coturnix. I would like to know for breeding purposes,how many females to one male? Also how do you house your breeders? Thanks in advance.

4-5 hens per roo isn't it?

You can do two and three but then you really got to hope you don't have a roo that's an over breeder. So yep four is best and 5 is max

I am running 1 rooster per 6 hens now due to a lot of fighting when it was 1 per 4. Things seem a lot better in the pens now.

I got 20 eggs yesterday and decided since i am overrun with eggs now, i would check fertility on them.............everyone of them had the bullseye, so things look good!!!
