male turkey on chicken eggs ?,,,,,*UPDATED*

I was just looking to see if a tom would sit on eggs cause I have one doing so , My hen has been laying like crazy Ive been taking the eggs to incubate them . She made a nest and laid 3 eggs in it so I left them to see if she would sit, I came home from work today to find the Tom sitting on the nest, Also is it normal for the Tom to get VERY MEAN when the Hen is laying
