Hello. New to chickens, got our first four 7 weeks ago. I’m pretty sure “Butterfly“ is a male after looking thru this site. 7 weeks old and make teenage boy type noises. Is there any way this is a pullet?

we cannot keep roosters in our town.

Yea, I would agree with that being a boy. That's a very red comb and decently developed wattle.
