If I have a big coop and in the middle I put a 3ft tall partition made of wood topped with wire up to the ceiling (to prevent any quails from flying over it) and separate the males and females on each side, would the males fight? Males don't fight if they're all together with no females because there's nothing to fight for. They'll also only be in that situation for a month. But, my concern is that the roos can hear the hens and will attack each other.
