Ok, thank you very much!I think the hens' stores of nutrients get depleted as the season wares on, no matter how good the feed - that's why commercial firms rest their birds, or indeed, even dispose of their stock when they get to the age your girls are. So it sounds like you're not doing anything wrong, they just need a rest, and their systems are beginning to fail. Once they've had a moult and a well deserved rest I imagine all will be back to normal!![]()
