1 of my brown chickens has layed 2 eggs that do not look like the rest. They have a, what i wood call a" flat spot" on the side of the egg and what looks like a" thickened shell" or maybe its thinner, not sure in just 1 spot. I am in the process of saving up 10 days of eggs for my incubator. This will be my 2nd try. first attempt was not very good. alot of the eggs were not fertile. So i was incubating unfertile eggs. I did have 3 white chickes, but made the mistake of taking them and rest of eggs to hen house the hen i believed killed them all and I brought all the eggs back in like you all told me to...thanks for all help. Learning process. Im better prepared for babies this time. I have them in a carton over the air vent with a thermometer that reads 60 degress. Hope Im doing ok so far? But my main question is should I expect anything out of these malformed eggs? Im hoping to get more orphington. I only have 1 orphington hen and the rest are brown. Any ideas on that question also? How to get more fertile orphington chicken eggs? Thank you so much to those that reach out to try to help!! this forum is my only resource and i appreciate any and all input
