I have an alarming type of facial cyst on one of my chickens that seems to be killing it. It doesn’t look like any of the fowl pox pictures I’ve seen and I don’t think it’s cancer because another one of my chickens looks to have the same thing but it still seems healthy and unbothered.
The one that’s dying has had it for a good while longer and now is showing symptoms like coccidia except it doesn’t have any diarrhea. It’s not eating and barely drinking only when prompted, sleeping all the time too. I know it’s on its way out and there’s probably nothing that can really help it at this stage, but I don’t want my other, still energetic chicken to go the same way or for the rest of the flock to catch it and die. Any ideas on what it is?
