Malines? Pullet?

Hi this is 12 week old Bertha, or was, now I'm not so sure. I feel like her comb and wattles have really deepened in color lately, especially compared to the Azure Blue pullet beside her in the first pic!! I think this is a cuckoo Malines but would really like confirmation if possible.

Fingers crossed cause I'm rather attached to this big bird.. also if Bertha ends up a Bert, of 14 eggs hatched, I lost one and only 2 ladies, merp.

Bertha certainly appears to be a cuckoo Malines. She also appears to be a Bert. I'm sorry.

@chickenlittle21 Big B is considerably larger than my Black Copper Marans cockerel, I'm almost certain (s)he is a Malines.

@Overo Mare thanks!!! Ahhh that's such a shame, guess that's the luck of the draw sometimes when you hatch your own eh?! I'm not ready to put B on the block right yet, so I guess I have three boys I'm waiting to make a decision on now, a Black Copper Marans, a Plymouth Barred Rock and this Malines. Let's see who's temperament shines come the hormone storm lol

Can you give an update Missjlee? Did you find that the Malines temperament shone through the storm?
