Mallard call duck drake for sale

Yesterday morning, I had two beautiful mallard call duck drakes. By evening, only one.

I believe one may have been carried off by great horned owl (sob!). The remaining male is very sad and very lonely. I would get a female, but I'm afraid the same terrible thing would happen again. Is anyone interested in my lonely boy? $10

so sorry for your loss. Can you get a mate for your fellow and cover their pen with netting of some kind to keep the owl out?

That's a possibility. I could put him in the hen house (right now he's in a building next to my baby Marans chicks) with a mate. But the space in the hen house is limited. I think he would be happier elsewhere. But definitely a possibility if I can't find him a wonderful home
