Hi everyone, I rescued a nest of mallard eggs from my field a couple of weeks ago when the mother was killed. I got them inside when they were still warm and set up an incubator for them. I have them on a dry hatch. I have experience candling eggs, so I was able to keep my eye on them along the way. 2 eggs never developed, 2 died during the development process, and I have 2 lone rangers standing. From my candling, I can tell that they are around day 21. Here are my questions:
1. When do I need to stop rotating them?
2. Is there anything else I can do to try to increase my hatchabilty?
3. I've read about misting them with warm water, should I?
I really want to try to get these last 2 to hatch healthily!
