Mallard duck question

I have a wild mallard hen that I have had since she was about a day old (she fell in a ditch and was left behind) and she follows me around outside like a puppy. Will she fly away this fall? I would hate to lose her

If you don't want her to fly away, you can clip the end of the longer wing feathers of one wing. There are lots of demonstrations and tutorials around the Internet

If she is fed and provided with a shelter, she might choose to stay and not leave. I've had mallards before and if they are provided with food and a safe home, then there isn't really any reason to fly away south.
