Mallard eggs

Hi- I have a mallard pair and at this point she has laid 13 eggs- but she has not even started to incubate them. She is a rescue and I will be returning her to her original location with the male partner. I had to treat her for an injury and before I had a chance to relocate her, she began laying eggs. I don’t want to stress her and am waiting to move her until she has stopped laying- but when will that be? I thought that mallards typically lay a max of 13 eggs.

I had a girl duck that laid her eggs, out in front of the coop door. And it started to rain. I put them under a chicken hen, and she hatched and raised them.
