Mallard question....

I bought 3, 3 month old mallards off of craigslist about a week ago. I am having a hard time figuring out what sex they are. Shouldn't they have their colors if they are male by now? Here is a pic of them today....there's only two because we had to "cull" one yesterday

I'm usually pretty good at voice sexing but these guys have me stumped....sometimes they sound femalish and other times not so much lol I figured it was too late to vent sex so I haven't tried

I'm having the same problem with my nine week old mallards. Sometimes I think I hear a quack but they are so quiet they hardly ever make a sound now. I should say one use to make a sound like a quack. They really don't even peep no more when they are separated.

My mallards look just like yours except one has the same bill color as yours, and one has a more yellow bill.
