Mallards laying in fall?

A few weeks back i found the nest my mallard was tending under meath the deck. She had like 15 eggs in it. I destroyed as I do NOT want more than my 5 ducks. She quit laying. I was consistently getting 2 eggs a day from my other two ducks. Yesterday i made sure i moved all the shavings to find any eggs. I am fairly confident i found all eggs (4). This morning i found SIX eggs. So maybe yes, your mallards may lay all winter. No slowing down in Northeastern Nevada. In fact they are increasing!!!

I just found this under the ramp to the deck. Ducktard Mallard has her stash here. I hate it when i have to destroy all those eggs. Subdivision (even though we are "rural" on 2 acre mobile home lots, 5 ducks is the max. Fall has not slowed the little bitty down at all.
