Mallards or Rouens? Genders?

Yes, they ended up being mallard drakes. They never did start talking like the Pekin does. I've wondered some if the mallard hens are more talkative, but they're more skittish than I like, so I doubt I'll find out.

I do have two Mallard Hens from Metzer Farms. They are very talkative at times and very loud. Mine do not eat out of my hands like my Rouen Hen does. I have one Rouen Hen that will and the other will not. My Muscovy Drake eats out of my hand but not the Hen. My Mallard Rouen mixed Drake used to but does not any longer. Funny how they all turn out. I thought yours were drakes but wasn't sure. Thanks for letting us know.
