These belong to a friend of mine. They're about 8 weeks old and she's wondering if they're both male? The two in the middle.

Appleyards? they were sold as Mallards.

They told you wrong, those are Male Silver Appleyards.

ok thanks. Just sent this info to my friend. She has other pekins and when she got some more these were listed as mallards. She's wishing she had gotten 4 of them instead of 2 more pekins

I have two offspring from my neighbor's ducks - a Pekin (drake) and a Mallard (hen). They're 8-9 weeks old and I'm trying to figure out what sex they are. I don't know how much of how they look is Pakin and how much is Mallard. They are good sized birds. Their mother is tiny. I took these photos last week and will try to get better pics today. My main concern is the neighbor now wants to give me the parents. I don't want to end up with a ton of drakes (don't they fight?). I also have a 5 week old Cayuga duckling, and those I hear are even harder to sex.
