Hello guys,

I think I might have a malpositioned egg since its day 20 and I don't see the egg completely filled like the rest who are on day 18 and are completely black ( except the air sack). Now you would say that the embryo probably died but I saw a lot of movement yesterday when I candled from the fat tip.

My best guess is that its malpositioned. Any help here guys? Thank you

hey bro if its malpositioned...then surely it cant hatch by it self.......you have to help it out with much care........first if it pipis a bit then u have to wait for atleast 12 hours ..to let it absorb all its yolk.after that u can help with your nails..... very carefully to remove the shell..only just remove the shell.u should not tear the internal membrane.it would start bleeding and the chick may die............and just help its head out under its wing, and keep it the incubator and watch it until it comes out ....if it cant help to come out by it shelf then just look for the yolk inside it ...if its there then leave it for more time....and if the yolk is absorbed then u can pull it out very slowly and wrap its abdomen with cotton and keep it in the incubator to rest it down........this was for the first case if it peeps a bit............

for the second case...........if it does not pips ......then u have to insure that the yolk is absorbed.or u can start opening the shell from the pointed side or where its head is.....and just help it out its head under its wing and keep it in the incubator.and just watch it ....if it cant help to come out by it shelf then just look for the yolk inside it ...if its there then leave it for more time....and if the yolk is absorbed then u can pull it out very slowly and wrap its abdomen with cotton and keep it in the incubator to rest it down...

it will surely help u........keep this it mind that it cant hatch out by it self......u have to do this operation and i hope it will be successfull .............just dont wait for more time ..it can lead the chick to sufocate and it may die without piping........

best of luck
