I did an eggtopsy on the three eggs that didnt hatch and they were dead and upside down. Yolk by the aircell. What causes this? They were incubated aircell up in the turner.

Were the eggs more round than tapered? I saw this in a few eggs in my last set from old hens. Just wondering if your observation was similar.

I had one pip out the bottom and was able to save him. He is a healthy strong chick. Most of the time they die without making it to pip.

One was pretty oval I could see it getting confused but the other two were normal egg shape. Just wondering if it's something I did?
